Who is Sergi Montejo?

Sergi Montejo Martínez (SRGMPHOTOS) is a freelance photographer specializing in Catalan popular culture events and portrait photography. He also manages several Instagram accounts for cultural organizations and contributes to the creation of posters and social media content for major cultural events across Catalonia.

Over the years, he has had the opportunity to photograph events such as the Festes de Maig in Badalona, the Sant Joan Festival in Valls, Les Santes in Mataró (as an official alternative photographer), the Sant Andreu de Palomar Festival in Barcelona, the Foc de Sant Esteve in Granollers, and the Winter Festival in Santa Coloma de Gramenet, among many other projects.

He has collaborated with cultural associations, traditional folklore groups, and local organizations, documenting events that showcase the vitality and cultural richness of Catalonia.

Beyond photography, Sergi is also a geganter (giant bearer and participant in giant traditions) and has been deeply passionate about Catalan popular culture since childhood, actively taking part in traditional celebrations throughout Catalonia.
