The Momerota was presented on 25 July 1979. It was built by actor Boris Ruiz: it has an ox’s head, a mule-like body and two horns with six fire points.

The Momerota has its own dance, choreographed by Montserrat Calsapeu, to the sound of gralles and drums: hops, turns, moves and swings that end in ever faster circles.
