40 Years of the Diablesses of Mataró (1985–2025)

On Friday, June 14, 2025, we had the privilege of attending the opening of the exhibition “40 Years of the Diablesses of Mataró”, a moving tribute that retraces the journey of a legendary colla that has left an unforgettable mark on the festive heritage of the city.

Four decades of fire and complicity

The exhibition offers a visual and emotional journey through photographs, videos, objects and music, evoking the strength, passion and unity of this fire group. Always accompanied by the unmistakable energy of the Tabalers do Maresme and dressed in the iconic capes designed by Nefer (@nefer.artista), the Diablesses have been undeniable icons of the popular celebration.

A gaze full of love

All the photographs on display are the work of @helena_molinos, who has beautifully captured the collective power and shared beauty of the colla with a sensitive and heartfelt perspective. As she herself said: without the strength of my fellow Diablesses, this work wouldn’t have been possible.
