Some first experiences stay with us forever. And the first public outing of our capgròs could hardly have had a better setting: the 2025 Alzheimer’s Walk in Mataró.

A solidarity event that once again demonstrated the city’s incredible ability to come together, reaching a new record of 5,100 registrations. Thousands of people walking for the same cause and turning the streets of Mataró into a powerful display of solidarity. 💛

The first outing of our capgròs

For us, this year’s event will always be connected to a very special memory. It was the first time our capgròs took to the streets and came face to face with the city.

Surprised looks, smiles, photographs and many shared moments turned its debut into an experience we will never forget. Our capgròs’ first encounter with Mataró is now part of our story.

And we are especially happy that this first outing was connected to such an important solidarity initiative.

5,100 people walking for Alzheimer’s

The Alzheimer’s Walk once again filled the streets of Mataró, with 5,100 registered participants, a record-breaking figure that reflects the city’s response to a cause that affects so many people and families.

Mataró has once again shown that, when it comes to helping others, we are capable of walking together in the same direction.

But behind an event of this scale are also many hours of hard work. That is why special recognition must go to all the volunteers whose time, dedication and effort make it possible for the walk to continue growing year after year. ❤️

Who is Mataró Camina?

Associació Mataró Camina works to raise awareness and understanding of Alzheimer’s disease.

One of its most important initiatives is this solidarity walk, which raises funds to support people and families directly or indirectly affected by the disease.

Beyond the numbers, every participant, every volunteer and every step helps raise awareness of Alzheimer’s and reminds us of the importance of continuing to move forward together.

A first day we will always remember

We take away a memory that can never quite be repeated: the day our capgròs took to the streets for the very first time.

It did so surrounded by thousands of people, as part of a day when Mataró once again showed its most supportive and caring side.

A first outing full of smiles, shared emotions and unforgettable moments that will stay with us forever.
