On the final day of the Festa Major, Mataró holds one of its most emotional moments: Enfigura’t. A unique privilege where anyone can carry—if only for a moment—the figure they love most.
It’s a magical moment. A tender gesture that turns a dream into reality: when a child holds the figure in their own hands and claims a piece of tradition as their own.
This snapshot captures exactly that: the future in the hands of a little girl. The future of a new generation that loves culture, embraces it, and with hope, will keep it alive to pass it on to those who come next.
Who is Ferran Muñoz?
Ferran Muñoz i Pérez, dissenyador gràfic nascut a Mataró el 1986.
Des de ben petit, gràcies a la meva família, la festa major i totes les seves figures, han esdevingut un SENTIMENT.
Actualment, amb el meu projecte personal a l’Espai ROBAFAVES, s’ha tancat el cercle. Però, a la vegada, s’ha iniciat la difusió d’aquest sentiment envers a tothom que segueix el projecte, especialment la quitxalla... la qual serà l’encarregada de mantenir viva les nostres tradicions.
I quan t’adones que el projecte ha arribat a tots els racons dels barris de Mataró i més enllà... el SENTIMENT encara esdevé més gran!
