Who is la Momerota de Mataró?

La Momerota was built by actor Boris Ruiz and is a fire figure carried by two people, with a bull's head crowned by two horns with six fire points each and a mulassa body. A fierce and spectacular figure that is one of the most recognisable elements of the Les Santes correfoc, the Mataró Festival. La Momerota is the mother of la Momeroteta, and together they form one of the most beloved pairs of fire figures in the festival.
