Correfoc Hat

GUSPIRA is the Robafaves correfoc hat, made from heavyweight 100% cotton and available in five sizes. It has a black exterior, a red interior and is made entirely in Catalonia and embroidered in Mataró.

The design features an embroidered moon inspired by a work by Nefer Rovira, originally created for the costumes of the Diablesses de Mataró and reinterpreted by Robafaves with the artist's approval.

The GUSPIRA Correfoc Hat is made from 100% cotton Mikado fabric. It combines a black 300 g/m² outer fabric with a red 200 g/m² lining.

The entire hat is made in Catalonia and the embroidery is done in Mataró.

How to choose your correfoc hat size

GUSPIRA is available in sizes 54, 56, 58, 60 and 62. The size corresponds approximately to the circumference of the head in centimetres.

To find your size, measure around your head with a measuring tape, passing it above your eyebrows and ears. Compare the measurement with the available sizes before ordering.

A tribute to Nefer Rovira

On the front of the hat is a reinterpretation of one of Nefer Rovira's moons, an artist closely linked to the visual identity of the Diablesses de Mataró.

The moon was originally created for the Diablesses' costumes. Robafaves has reinterpreted it as the central embroidery of GUSPIRA with the artist's approval.

Is the correfoc hat fireproof?

No. The GUSPIRA Correfoc Hat is not fireproof and does not have any flame-retardant treatment. It is made from heavyweight 100% cotton, but the fabric can burn or become damaged if it comes into contact with flames, sparks or other sources of heat.

The hat does not replace the protective measures indicated by the organisers of a correfoc. Always follow the safety recommendations for each event and wear suitable clothing and footwear.

A hat for correfocs and fire festivals

GUSPIRA is designed to be worn at correfocs and fire festivals across Catalonia. Its origins, however, are closely linked to Mataró and Les Santes, the city's Festa Major.
