Who is la Geganta de Mataró?

La Geganta de Mataró is Robafaves' inseparable companion and her appearance is that of a classic queen with a crown, white veil and velvet cape. Particularly striking is the beautiful bouquet of natural flowers she always carries in her left hand and the handmade handkerchief crafted by a group of grandmothers from the city, in her right. One of the most beloved symbols of Les Santes, the Mataró Festival.
