Who is Dragalió of Mataró?

Dragalió is a fire figure from Mataró, the son of Drac de Mataró and Víbria del Poblenou. On 23 April 2007, Sant Jordi, he first appeared in the form of a large egg, and on 25 July 2007, at the beginning of Les Santes, Dragalió emerged from it.

He is smaller than Drac, is carried by one person and shares several features with his father. Dragalió was designed and built by Xevi Ribas. He takes part in different events during Les Santes de Mataró, including Correguspira.
