Who are the Diablesses de Mataró?

Les Diablesses de Mataró are an all-female fire group founded in 1985. The group was created as part of Mataró's Festa Major and has been part of Les Santes ever since.

Each Diablessa carries a mace with carretilles and, since 1994, a sarró containing pyrotechnics. The group's costumes were designed by Nefer Rovira. Les Diablesses take part in different events during Les Santes de Mataró, including Escapada a Negra Nit.
