La Momeroteta de Mataró — La Momerota's Daughter
La Momeroteta de Mataró was built by Boris Ruiz three years after the birth of her mother, La Momerota de Mataró. She was publicly presented during Les Santes de Mataró in 1982.
La Momeroteta is a fire figure carried by two people, with a bull's head and the body of a mulassa. Her appearance resembles her mother's but she is smaller and is distinguished by sticking out her tongue and having one fire point on each horn.
The Colla de la Momeroteta
The Colla de la Momeroteta de Mataró is made up of around twenty boys and girls, dressed in a wide shirt-style coat, sash, black trousers, traditional esparto espadrilles and a black beret. A special colla made up entirely of children from the city.
The dance of La Momeroteta
La Momeroteta has her own dance, composed by the Grallers de Cabrils with choreography by Montse Calsapeu. The dance has two parts: in the first, La Momeroteta performs a kind of waltz made up of zigzags, diagonals, jumps and quarter turns. In the second part she moves in circular patterns with more pronounced hops, ending with a series of very fast spins.

La Momeroteta takes part in most events of Les Santes de Mataró, Mataró's Festival: la Crida, el Correguspira, l'Anada a Ofici, la Passada, l'Anada a la Residència Sant Josep and l'Anem a tancar. She also appears during the Mataró Carnival.
