Artisan quality and durability

Made from 100% cotton, our capes combine a black outer fabric of 400 g/m² with an inner lining of 160 g/m², ensuring outstanding durability. The illustrations, integrated through our distinctive embroidery on fabric, offer unrivalled solidity and finish. This attention to detail makes our capes an essential piece for living every correfoc with intensity.

Safety at the correfoc: what you need to know

This cape does not have a flame-resistant treatment. Flame-resistant treatments are simply a liquid applied to the base fabric with a limited lifespan — they do not last forever and lose effectiveness with washing.

It is essential to understand that any type of fabric, regardless of any flame-resistant treatment it may have received, can burn when it comes into direct contact with fire or sparks. This contact can cause small colour changes due to burns or, in more severe cases, perforation of the fabric producing small holes.

In these situations it is crucial that the fabric is thick — as our capes are — since this helps minimise damage. It is equally important that the fabric contains no plastic such as polyester, because this material can melt with heat and stick to the skin, causing more serious injuries.

To guarantee user safety, we make our correfoc capes from 100% cotton with a high fabric weight. These characteristics provide better protection against sparks and fire, reducing the risk of serious burns and preventing the fabric from melting and adhering to the skin.

Available sizes

• Small: approx. 3 to 6 years. Length: 60 cm from the nape of the neck to the bottom of the cape.
• Medium: approx. 7 to 9 years. Length: 76.5 cm from the nape of the neck to the bottom of the cape.
• Large (Adult): 10 years to adult. Length: 1 metre from the nape of the neck to the bottom of the cape.

Is the correfoc cape fireproof?
No. Fireproof fabrics do exist but their cost makes them impractical for everyday correfoc use. Flame-resistant treatments applied to conventional fabrics lose effectiveness after washing. That is why our capes are made from 100% cotton with a high fabric weight (400 g/m²), the safest and most practical material for the correfoc: it does not melt or stick to the skin like polyester, and it withstands sparks.

What sizes are available?
Three sizes: Small (3-6 years, 60 cm), Medium (7-9 years, 76.5 cm) and Large Adult (10 years to adult, 1 metre in length).
