Who is el Drac de Mataró?

El Drac de Mataró is a fierce yet friendly figure, with a calm fire formed by eight fixed fire points that allow people to jump and dance very close to the figure. It also has a special mechanism that lets it breathe fire from its mouth, making it one of the most spectacular fire figures in the Les Santes correfoc.

El Drac de Mataró celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2021, a milestone that Robafaves marked with the creation of the Drac correfoc cape, its official cape.
