The Momeroteta is a fire figure of Mataró and one of the figures associated with Les Santes de Mataró, the city’s Festa Major.

It was built by Boris Ruiz and presented during Les Santes in 1982, three years after the Momerota. It is carried by two people and has a bull’s head and a mulassa-shaped body, with smaller dimensions than its mother.

The Momeroteta is particularly recognisable because it sticks out its tongue and has one fire point on each horn. These features give the figure its own distinctive appearance.
