The Dragalió is a fire figure of Mataró associated with Les Santes de Mataró, the city’s Festa Major.

Its story begins with the courtship between the Drac of Mataró and the Víbria de Poblenou. The Dragalió was first presented as a giant egg during Sant Jordi in 2007, and emerged from it on 25 July of the same year, at the beginning of Les Santes.

It is a small fire figure, carried by one person and with many similarities to the Drac of Mataró, its father. The figure was designed and built by Xevi Ribas.
